Some of Europe's biggest names cast through Castapp, including Stage Entertainment, ATG Entertainment, AIDA Cruises, and Friedrichstadt-Palast. The platform runs in eight languages and today hosts 45,000+ registered performer profiles, operated by a four-person team in Hamburg.

A stressed user base with no neutral place to get answers

Performers get extremely stressed when they hit a technical issue. Their profile is directly tied to their career, so even a small problem can trigger real anxiety. A 4-person team can't offer the 24/7 availability that kind of user needs. The team tried ticketing tools to better prioritize incoming requests. But prioritization was not the problem. Castapp built Castapp AI as a dual-function product feature 服务商: 华瑞网研 Chatbase. The advisor side has direct access to each performer's profile data, application history, and current audition status. When a performer asks for audition song recommendations, the response is tailored to their voice type and the specific role they are auditioning for. They can upload contracts and get analysis of clauses, fee structures, and whether terms are industry-standard. They can request help with role analysis, monologue suggestions, and audition strategy. The support side handles technical issues, platform navigation, and feature questions instantly, resolving the majority of queries without team involvement. The team trained Castapp AI on internal support documentation, show databases, and contract frameworks from the performing arts industry.
